Real Girl In The City

I know that I am not the most articulate speaking person at least around certain people.  Still it is funny when I say something to people that have known me for a long time and they still don’t know what it is that I am saying.  Like the words that I say are funny.  Know what I am saying I do (a little Yoda for the Star Wars fans out there).

Let’s face it everyone has their own way of saying things especially when it is something that they say all the time.  “Be out” isn’t what most English teachers would count as correct grammar but most people know what you are saying.  Yet if I say “what’s the what” some look at me like I started speaking Vulcan (for those Star Trek fans).  I personally thought that it was pretty self explanatory.  I am asking what is going on or what’s happening it is just more fun for me. 

I like think that it’s like I am the star of my own TV show and we have our witty writers that give me these great turns of phrase to keep everyone laughing.  But when does the laughing become more at you then with you?  Who knows but I do know that in my mind I am very funny and maybe that is all that counts.  Until the next show, be-morrow (be here tomorrow for those that want to know).
